Day 212-No Car Day

Well, this is a small update. I haven't said much in the past. Probably been like two months, and by then I've lost all popularity with anyone who might of chance actually read this. Why go on?
A lot has hapend. And I'm not gonna share any of it with you. Enjoy the photos of NO CAR DAY. For some reason, I guess once a year Belgium decided that no one should use their car on a Sunday. Which is totally understandable. Save a little gas, help the environment. And on Sunday everything is pretty much closed so you wouldn't have anywhere to go with your car anyway. So there were lots of bikes instead and no pedestriane cared to follow walking signs or normal walking behavior. I guess cause the lack of threat of high speed cars. So everyone was on their bike, and every parent who didn't teach their kid to ride a bike taught them on this day.
And since there's no cars, what better way to celebrate the day then with a festival! It was like Festival Weekend! Friday we went out, had some drinks, later I found out the group played pool. Saturday [or Zaterdag, in dutch] we bought darts for whatever dart board we could find in a random bar. And just a block from us, it was like Ultimate Garage Sale day, if anyone had a garage out here. And there was good food, and lots of people's crap. But always fun to look at. This little festival went around like 5 blocks, practically half way to the center of the city.
Sunday we played Darts, and it was no car day, and there was Carvinal-like festival, with again more food and crappy games to play. And just EVERYONE was outside. Our friends and ourselves voted to not hang out in the center cause it was just too many people, and head to our place's area for drinks and darts and food. Overall a great weekend.

P.S. Perhaps that's why there are lack of entries, we made friends out here, and hang out now. And Friends definately made this place a better place. Enjoy!
